Who we are

The team producing and directing the film is made up of Paul Cadieux, Amos Carlen and Aline Robichaud.

Collectively, our team has won an Emmy Award, multiple Film Festival Awards and has been nominated for an Oscar. With decades of experience in TV & Film, our award-winning team has proven expertise in writing, production, direction, editing, and music composition.

Their most recent productions include the Emmy award winning film The Advocate, multiple award winning film Polaris and the acclaimed historical doc Shadows of Freedom (Amazon Prime/National Geographic/Discovery). Past credits/clients include–Showtime, Sony, CBS, Disney, HBO, Discovery, National Geographic, MTV, NBC/Universal, VICE and Radio-Canada télé, to name a few.

Some other feature films and TV series the team has been involved with include The Hot Zone, Departure, Born to Be Blue, Category: Woman, Taken, The Grammys, Anne of Green Gables, The Emmys, Shake Hands with the Devil and Top Chef Canada, among others.

The distributor for this film, Filmoption International, has been a premier Canadian and international distribution powerhouse and a global sales agent for over 4 decades. Many of their documentary releases have gained international recognition by critics and caught the eyes of programmers in some of the world’s most prestigious festivals and awards, including a Best Documentary Emmy®, OSCARS® shortlist nomination, four official selections at Sundance Film Festival, Berlin, SXSW, Tribeca, Doc Aviv, Dok Leipzig, DOC NYC, IDFA, CPH:DOX, TIFF and VIFF to name a few.

They have also acquired a vast list of contacts in festivals dedicated to the documentary genre, which they will leverage to support the film’s release.
